In the sense that a Ferrari will work if you put kerosene in
the tank, yes.
I know nothing about the Artisan software, and am familiar with
ProfileMaker. How would you, using Artisan software, set the Paper
White reference point for soft-proofing in a given workflow?
I wouldn't. I'd use the device-to-PCS tables in the printer profile
to set the correct white point, and leave the monitor alone.
