Can anyone provide a nutshell panther update for the "ColorSync on Mac
OS X" document (

In particular, I'm curious about how the ColorSync filter options in
the print dialog fit in to the processing pipeline. I thought I could
use that to specify both a target profile and rendering intent and set
color options on vendor supplied driver (Canon) to no color management
to take over control, but at least an initial test suggests that
doesn't work like I thought it would.
