Ok, now that Panther is out and many of us are running it...
It was my impression from the hype that we would be able to do a
system level profile to profile conversion during printing with
Panther. I can see the premise, by going to the Colorsync utility and
creating filters.
Two questions:
1. Will this work with apps that generate their own postscript like
Quark and InDesign? That was always the issue in the past that
prevented system level postscript color management to fail.
2. Is the "Intermediate Transform" the same as the input profile? If
not, then where would it be?
I'm prepared to be disappointed once again.
