Hello:
Using OS 10.3 on a G4, Samsung 900NF monitor and Eye-One Display to
make a profile, I find that when I go to adjust the individual guns the
adjustment arrows tend to wobble around the desired aim point.
Following instructions, I bring the green up to maximum level, move it
back down to meet the fixed point, adjust the red gun to move it's
arrow into the desired position, and son on. I close the Samsung
adjustment window after making each adjustment. Looking to set a
whitepoint of 6500.
I find that the arrows for the individual guns tend to shift around the
center fixed points, moving about every five seconds. The problem is
that they don't seem to follow any sort of pattern, so that I can't
adjust things around some "average" setting. Sometimes they move very
little, sometime one will swing widely, &c.
Hopefully my explanation is clear enough to be understood by someone
out there. Is this behavior normal? If so, what is the best way to make
my setting? Thanks for any help.
