What I find is that the Epson drivers just get into a hissy fit with OSX and
the solution appears to be deleting the driver from Print Center and
reinstalling. It doesn't take long and it's not something that happens every
day but it does happen! No problem printing to my LaserWriter! I use
ImagePrint and once it's setup and running (I have the version with the fix
for Panther), it's runs just fine. I know Apple blames Epson and Epson
blames Apple and perhaps both parties deserve a bit of the blame. But like I
said, other printers don't seem to be a big issue and ImagePrint seems to
crank along just fine under OSX.
I couldn't even imagine using OS9! Even though I might have to delete a
printer once in awhile, it's far less an issue than using a 20th century OS.
And Photoshop CS is pretty darn sweet!
