Version one software gives you choices of brightness
settings from 75cd/m2 to 120cd/m2 in 5cd/m2 steps.
White point choices are 4000K, 4500K, 5000K, 5500K,
6000K, 6500K, 7000K, 7500K, 8000K, 8500K, 9000K,
9300K, 9500K, or 10000K.
Gamma choices are 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, or 2.6.
Those are the only-user applied settings, everything
else is automatic.
We just got a CG18. It looks very nice, but I have no
other high-quality LCD monitors to compare it with.
Viewing angle is far better than the cheap
Viewsonics/Samsungs/Sylvanias that we use for office
applications. I would have got an Artisan, but for the
consistent bad luck we have had with Sony product
reliability.
