"And I have heard (from a colleague) that if you measure the Apple Cinema Display you get about a 7 delta e across it and if you then measure the Eizo you get about a 5 delta e across it."

How do you measure this difference?
We too have a Apple Cinema Display - bought for our colour correcting work station. After about 2 weeks there was a noticeable yellowing on the left hand edge.
In our attempts to have Apple fix the problem they claimed they could not see it and asked us to "prove" it - to give them some numbers. I was looking for the type of data you say you can generate. Can you share with me what tools and methods you used to generate those numbers?
Please and thank you.
