It will allow to do the conversion but not so well. I just had a client
yesterday who converted from Photoshop v5 "SWOP Coated (20%)" to his press
custom profile. Well, the skin colors came out awfully green. Had he
assigned "US WebCoated SWOP v2" instead to the original image, the skintones
ould have come out much nicer. But, other than the appearance of the image
to separation was comparable.
