Hi, Terry,
My experience with Sony's support is that I have gotten some good phone support from individuals within the Professional Graphics area of their Tech Support staff. Don't get sucked into a conversation with their basic peripherals support people.
Also, are the monitor and colorimeter (particularly the monitor) USB-attached either directly to the computer or into a powered USB bus? An unpowered USB bus can definitely be a problem.
