Space is the document's space, and Print Space is a custom profile. In
this case, of on Bill Atkinson's. I know these work fine, as they did
under Jaguar / PS 7. In the OS X printer driver for the Epson 7600,
the ColorSync tab doesn't have a "None" setting for Color Conversion.
The drop down lists "Standard" and "In Printer," but the latter is
greyed out. Previous versions used to be able to by-pass ColorSync in
the printer driver.
Ignore the ColorSync option in the main drop down menu. You need to go
to the Color Management option instead, and there you will find the
option to select "No Color Adjustment".
I'm not sure what the long term plan Apple has in mind, but in the
short term it is rather a confusing user interface, in my opinion and
those I've asked so far, to have ColorSync appear as an option twice in
the print dialog, and yet have to launch a separate application to
actually choose a destination profile. And then also to have Quartz
filters located under ColorSync when a number of the possible options
don't have anything to do with ColorSync (like reducing the file size
of a saved PDF).
