Would someone from Apple ColorSync 'support' jump in the discussion and
explain the basics or the 'master plan' behind Panther 'ColorSync' printing
architecture, if any, before we all break our banks try to
reverse-engineer the system on our color printers? If the conversions are
doing null transforms internally, would someone say so outloud, here, or in
the form of a white paper somewhere on the ColorSync site? ColorSync and
color management need to maintain their credibility in the eyes of the color
users at large -- not destroy it.
