I think a better solution for a comparable amount of cash is the basICColor
Dispay/ Sequel Squid combo which can be had for $199. Great software that
usually sells for $149 alone, so $199 with the instrument is a great deal.
Not sure where all you can get this package, I know you can order from
www.integrated-color.com.
They can help you with camera and scanner profiling as well. No real good
substitute for a good scanner target, either IT8 or equivalent. Trying to
use one of these to profile the camera is folly and will cause you more pain
that any gain you may hope for. The folks listed above also sell what I
think is the best camera profiling software to date, ColorEyes, and I think
they have a less expensive version that works with the 24-patch Macbeth
Color Checker.
