Profile Maker Separation issue

  • Subject: Profile Maker Separation issue

I am having problems with CMYK separations in Profile Maker 4.1.5 running on OS X Panther. No matter what black settings are applied in the separation dialog are not honored in the profile . For example, a profile made with an earlier version of PM yields a different black generation with cleaner skin tones (no K) but using the exact same setting in the latest PM results in a different black generation with black going upto 60% where there should be none. I have tried this on two Macs running Panther with the same results.
