Put your Optical profile in the "profiles" folder.
(Library>Colorsync>Profiles)
Under System Preferences>Displays>Color, select your profile from the
"display profile" list.
Hope that works for you.

Now it does.
So, how do you get OS X / colorsync to see and use a monitor profile
created
with optical ?
The profile is placed in the colorsync profiles folder in the "Classic"
part of the OS but I could not just drag it to the OS X "Library"
folder, which is what I assumed I would have to do.
TIA
