Matching yarn colors

One of my clients is building software for the carpet industry, and needs to match yarn samples (in a viewing booth) with RGB color patches (defined on a calibrated and profiled Apple 20-inch Cinema Display in Photoshop 7).

So far we are able to generate excellent color matches with the viewing booth set to 5000K and the display calibrated to 6500K.

However, one customer has asked that we specify colors so they can be matched under cool white florescent lighting. Is there a way to simplify the color specification process for different illuminants without individually remeasuring thousands of yarn colors?

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
