You didn't say if which Os(s) you're on so I'll assume Mac and OsX. You'll
probably want to delete the ColorSync Cache in each home>library/preferences
and see if that bumps out the old profile name.
Also are you changing the internal names as well or is it just the finder
name? Chromix ColorThink will allow you to do naming and correction of
prefix suffix in every direction and much more to boot.
