Thanks for the $1.50 worth of info.
In regards to the second part of my question...
------
In the devices section of ColorSync Utility, my Epson 7600 is listed under
the Printers. Under that, there are 18 different profiles listed, one for
each type of paper that's been factory tested. The profile named "Pro 7600
Standard_PK" is marked as the default profile, signified by a blue dot next
to its name in the 'Default' column.
When I print using the print driver's ColorSync color mgmt. setting, is this
default profile the one that's used to make the conversion or does it use
the profile that matches the paper I selected in the Print dialog box? In
the case of the Epson 7600, which has many profiles installed with it, what
is the purpose of the default profile. Is it possible to change the default
profile and, if so, how?
-------
does anyone have a good explanation?
Thnx
