There is a "SuperBright" mode which throws in an additional 50 or Cd/m2 but
I don't need it for now. That's what atracted me in the first place: a CRT
that is as bright as today's best LCDs!
Luckily, I don't spend 40 hours a week in front of my monitor. But it's
going to be interesting to watch it age over time at that Luminance level.
Heck, at the price I paid it for, I can almost afford to change it every two
to three years! Still, I think you're right about driving it at 115 Cd/m2
ought to age it faster? We'll see just how much Luminance I'll loose over
time.
