I would agree. Our tests confirmed that you get as good or better results with the Barco hardware/software. The problem you will face either way is the brightness (lack of). Barco will always revert the brightness setting to a constant which is too dark. We would have to switch off our room lights and turn our viewing booth lights to a bare minimum in order to match the brightness of our monitors. So our operators are now calibrating the monitor, then go back in and increase the brightness slider by x-number of clicks or millimeters. It's a pain but it will works.

Had a Reference V but the software at the time only ran under OS9. Anyway
you DO want to use their colorimeter and software! No question.
