Changing Blacks on the epson 2100

I am running Photoshop CS on OSX 10.2 and printing to an Epson 2100 (2200 in
the USA). When I change black inks from matt to Photo black none of the epson
profiles for the new ink set appear as choices under Print Space. I called
epson they told me to delete the print driver, reboot the computer, and
reinstall the print driver. It works, but seems a poor work-around for every
time you change ink sets. Any suggestions for a simpler way?
