I've heard of (and experienced) problems printing when switching black
inks, but never anything like you describe. Are these profiles you've
created yourself or are these the Epson-supplied profiles? The 2200 is a
huge headache in OS X when it comes time to switch black inks. I try to do
it as little as possible or boot into OS 9 to print (if possible). It is a
ridiculous mess and I wish one side or the other would fix it.
