Any reason for not to convert all the image files to sRGB or such and
make the presentations with Internet quality?

Or then again, can someone recommend a program that will create and
display
color-managed slideshows. We're doing a promotional presentation for a
just-released book that will be built from a large number of
currently CMYK
images from the book, so I need to get a strategy in place to hand
this off to
the guy who will be doing the presentations, who doesn't want to deal
with any
technicalities himself.
Thanks.
Personnally, I set up all my PDF presentations in InDesign then export
to
PD, managing colors on the way out to whathever color space I wish to
use as
THE color space in the PDF.
