Unless you are logged in as "root" (superuser) you cannot modify the
contents of System (to protect you from yourself!). However you do have
two other locations to place the Atkinson profiles:

Mac HD/Users/User/Library/Colorsync/Profiles
Mac HD/Library/Colorsync/Profiles

Placing them in the latter gives every user access to the profiles. Hope
