The problem here is that the Architects have no understanding or
appreciation of colour or image making. The only way that you'll solve that
problem is by doing a seminar on colour theory :-|
There is a fundamental flaw in *their* theory of what the reproduction
process is about - they assume that you can simply take a reading from the
paint on a wall and the fabric on piece of furniture and use the same data
to create an exact simulation in *any* other media that they choose.
Even if you manage to get a reasonable match on a wide gamut device they'll
be demanding that you match the same colours on a web press next.
Maybe you should ask them to design a building in steel and then bitch about
the fact that it won't stand up if you use balsa instead...
