I could be off but I seem to recall C-41 (it's actually RA4) prints having
about a 25-30 year life.
As for ink jet, I have this tidbit:
Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc. Display Permanence Ratings for EPSON Stylus
Photo 2200 prints framed under glass and displayed with 450 lux
illumination for 12 hours per day:
70 years for Premium Luster Photo Paper
56 years for Premium Glossy Photo Paper
54 years for Premium Semigloss Photo Paper
58 years for Velvet Fine Art Paper
92 years for Watercolor Paper - Radiant White
62 years for Enhanced Matte Paper (but paper may yellow in 30-40 years)
