The difference between ColorNavigator with the spectro and
ColorNavigator with the colorimeter is very small. Since you need the
spectro for the inkjets, I'd go with that. Color Navigator will
probably extend the support to other instruments in future, so if you
decide down the road that you really need a colorimeter too, you'll
probably have more options later.

Bruce,
I'm considering purchasing a Eizo CG21 monitor and was also
planning to purchase the i1 Photo package from GretagMacbeth to use
in conjunction with ColorNavigator and profiling our inkjet printers
. I believe this package utilizes the spectro version of the i1.
Eizo seems to imply it doesn't matter which version of the i1 you
use... "the ColorEdge CG21 and CG18 come bundled with EIZO's
ColorNavigator software designed for use with GretagMacbeth Eye-One
products" and go on to list both the spectro and the colorimeter
version. Just want to ask your advice; in your experience would we
run into some unforeseen problem if we purchased the Photo package
and used it with ColorNavigator? Any responses appreciated.
I Craig
