In the last few days I spend about 6 hours with a client try to get a rip
to print correctly using his new G5.
Yesterday I found out that Apple has put out a product that will not allow
you to print (easily) with a rip as you can with a G4. My client is blown
away and feeling jerked around. And rightly so.
I am also told that this is a USB two problem and that if you were to use a
USB one hub that it might resolve the problem in the short term. However,
there are some technical question as to whose USB one product to use.
So I wanted to ask this list to verify what I have heard.
Oh yea, I am also told that the G5 fix will be in March sometime.
That is the pits.
