Andrew, the great "Digital Dog" Can you generate a postscript print file

Steven,
I'd responded to your other post about the Best Colorproof RIP and layout problem you were having; I stated that it was fixed with 10.3.2 and Colorproof 5.0.1. It's not, and it doesn't seem to be a RIP problem because I can't make a Postscript file out of Photoshop CS with those format parameters that works either, regardless of PPD chosen. (I'm not even connected to a printer and I see the problem when opening .ps files with Preview.)
Illustrator 10.0.3 has the same issue- looks like an OS problem. Applications such as Quark 6.0 and Indesign 2.02 which use their own proprietary means of setting page size don't seem to suffer from the bug. Looks like the best workaround is to rotate in the application and adjust the page size accordingly.
At some point, Best Colorproof had a similar problem which is now fixed but it doesn't seem like this is the same thing. If your output is raster files to Colorproof, use a hot folder instead- it's a bit quicker than printing files to it if you don't need real Postscript output.
Chris
