You could always use a color server, like iQueue, to act as an interface
between iPhoto and your printer. Or set up some kind of Photoshop Droplet to
do more or less the same thinng -- I never tried this myself, just a wild
thought. But I agree it's a shame that iPhoto, to date, does not offer any
kinds of useful ColorSync color management controls where you simply specify
a source, a destination and a rendering intent, on the way out to the
printer other that what you can find in the printer driver.
