From initial inspection of the ColorEdge G21 3D gamut in ColorThink, in
comparison to an Artisan profile, both at the same D65 calibrated white
point, it looks like the biggest difference between the two monitors is
their blue colorant. The Eizo blue is much more saturated than the Artisan
while not being at the same hue angle (more towards the blue than towards
the magenta in the case the of the Artisan). So, no wonders the Eizo is
generated much more saturated cyans than the Artisan can. Same thing for the
green colorant, the Eizo boasts a much more saturated green -- I did not
bother running delta E calculations but the difference is clearly visible in
the 3D projections. There does not seem to be any difference in the red,
however, and that is consistent with what someone was telling recently that
the same red phosphors or dye is used for both CRTs and LCDs.

Still, I am curious to hear what is the difference in measured black
luminances between the Artisan and the Eizo.
