Hi group,
It's my turn to call on your collective wisdom. Up until now, I have never
had to wrestle directly with an ACD. I understand what these are and plan to
use either my i1 or my trusty SpectroCam with it. I plan to use iMatch 2.03
first as it's always give me the best profiles overall, of all the profiling
apps I've tried and worked with so far, albeit on a CRTs. I could not use
OptiCal because it does not support the SpectroCam nor the i1, and the only
other colorimeter I have at my disposal that works with OptiCal is a DTP92.
I have basICColor v2.5 which I plan to try if I don't like what I see from
iMatch. I have Fuji ColourKit Monitor Profiler which gave me nice profiles
with the i1 and the DTP92 on CRTs. And, of course, I have ProfileMakerPro
v4.1.5 which does not, for obvious reasons, support the SpectrCam...
I am going to remember to try not to force any calibrated white point on
this monitor as it would not be done in hardware, but rather use the native
white point. Are there some presets anywhere I should be wary of? As for
gamma, I plan to aim for the standard 2.2.
Anything else I am forgetting?
