Can you profile them both? I've heard conflicting reports.
And while on the subject, am I correct that if you're using a single
card
that is capable of driving two displays, you can only profile one?
http://www.i1color.com/support/faq.cfm has answers for this under the
"Eye-One Software" section, covering both Macs and PCs. For Windows,
they
say you need to have 2 video cards or a single video card with 2
graphics
chips in order to profile both monitors. A dual-output video card with
a
single graphics chip won't work for this.
I don't have a dual output video card with 2 graphics chips, so I
can't try
it... but that leads to the question of: what dual output video cards
_do_
have 2 graphics chips? And, if anyone has one, have you been able to
profile
both monitors? i.e.: does it really work?

Regarding profiling my G3 PwrBook and the attached Mitsi Diamond Pro
2060u, I think I am creating separate profiles for the LCD on the
PwrBook, and the 2060u. I do go through the motions, and end up with
the ability to choose which profile I want on which screen.
You gentlemen would know better than me.
I use the i1Pro with i1Match 2.03. I just don't think the LCD on
the G3 PwrBook is as accurate (if that is the right word) as the 2060u.
I also have the ColorVision Spyder with Optical. Don't use it much.
Only when I am going to demo the product for someone to purchase.
My illusion that all hardware and software would make all CRT's look
alike, is gone.
