Saw the OmniWeb 5 demo this week at MacWorld and was quite impressed
with it as a whole. I wanted to mention - following on to the recent
Web color management thread - that OmniWeb seems to handle ColorSync
correctly. Like in Explorer, there's an option to enable ColorSync,
though it's both a global preference you can set (for all sites), or
something you can set using the site preferences panel on a per-site
basis. When ColorSync is enabled, it will match from embedded profiles,
and if there is no embedded profile it will assume sRGB (yay!).
When ColorSync is off I'm not clear on what it'sl behavior is -
probably it does a null conversion by assuming monitor RGB, as the off
mode is essentially for better performance.
Just a quick note,
Roger
