JDF Expert Certificate Training Program Begins January 20

An extraordinary new educational program is about to begin
developed by the CIP4 (www.cip4.org) and IPA (www.ipa.org)
organizations that will educate our industry world-wide on one
of its most important new technologies, JDF (Job Definition Format).

This JDF Expert Certificate training program will consist of
13 bi-weekly sessions, culminating with a final exam in the
summer of 2004. The first LIVE program begins January 20, 2004.
PROGRAM CONTENT

Attendees who complete the entire JDF Expert Certificate program will:
- Better understand how process automation can meet their company's
graphics and printing production requirements;
- Gain insight into strategies and methods that can be used to migrate
to a JDF-enabled environment;
- Learn how to read JDF and understand how print meta data flow throughout
the workflow and how the data flow can be leveraged to improve the process;
- Be prepared to evaluate new JDF enabled software, systems, and equipment.

Content for the training program is developed by qualified CIP4
Technical Committee leaders and experts. All training sessions will
be provided via LIVE Webinar, allowing for instructor interaction and
audience questions.
LIVE AND ON-DEMAND AVAILABILITY

All programs will be LIVE and also recorded for ON-DEMAND presentation
throughout the length of the program, scheduled to be completed July 13, 2004.
The basic instruction will also be available for Internet viewing shortly
after the live presentations. Attendees may purchase access to both LIVE
and ON-DEMAND sessions.
EXPERT CERTIFICATE

After attendance at all training sessions, individual students may pass a
final examination to achieve their personal JDF Expert Certificate and be
permitted to professionally use the "JDF Expert" designation.

The program is specifically designed for those persons leading their
company's efforts to implement JDF based automated processes and CIM
(Computer Integrated Manufacturing) into their operations. This includes
Chief Information Officers, Chief Technology Officers and lead systems and
