Let's just say that the LaCie's B111 and B4 are Mitsubishi screens. You'll
find the exact same questions of uniformity on all these screens. As you
have I've swapped out Mitsu screens too for the same reasons. Same for
certain Sony screens. Last week I was at a site with 4 Barco Calibrator
screens. I was shocked when the colour person there said all the Barco's
have uniformity problems. Wish that all screens were uniform but since we
all want the manufacturers to keep prices low quality control has seemed to
slip. Soon I'll be happy to replace all the CRT's with LCD's which seem to
have a wonderful uniformity and gray balance on the hi-end models, including
Sony, Eizo, Apple, and LaCie of course compared to CRT screens.
