We are using Navigator 6.0 + Canon W7200
In case when you print e.g. test IT 8.7/3 without any
linearization (also without RIP) and compare these printouts
measured with Measure Tool (Gretag) from 4 different plotters
the deltaE is about 7-8. When you have all the plotters linearized
and print the same IT 8.7/3 sample (with Navigator 6.0r0a and
Canon 72x0 plug-in) the difference is bigger - about deltaE=9-10 .
Up to now I believed that linearization of any device shall provide
some kind of gold state of it. And of course when you compare different
gold states for the same type of devices in the same circumstances
they should match each other (like calibrating monitors).
How you could explain that the difference is bigger?
The linearization is being done according to the Canon 72x0 plug-in
manual.
Could you suggest any procedure to narrow the difference?
