Just as a casual observation...
I run an Roland FJ-500 (CMYKLcLmOG).
Printing images for photographers from around the greater Lake Tahoe
area, mainly landscapes, I have noticed much better results compared to
any L-F Epson. However the Epson does do better with B&W images when
running the dual black configuration.
Maybe it is our workflow, but from practical daily
observation/comparison our ink set configuration blows currently
available 4,5, 6 & 7 color ink sets out of the water for color output.
