Quite right. We all use the term RGB loosely when it comes to print making,
and there are really very few 'real' RGB imaging methods. Polachrome was
pretty awful stuff. I think that Dufaycolor used RGB colored starch grains
to form a transparency also.
With regard to the LCD screens, would a CMY device just be brighter or
actually produce more of the spectrum (greater color gamut)?
