Make sure it is coded the same as a regular monitor profile. If you're in
OSX, which you don't say you are, simply double click on the monitor profile
itself at the Finder and it should launch Apple's own ColorSync Utility.
Form there, you have access to a wealth of information. If you want to find
out more, I'd recommend the usual books by Fraser and Sharma. And there's
one just out by Joshua Weisburg called "Color Management in Mac OSX" that
could help you as well.
If you're on Windows, get hold of the free ICC Profile Inspector at
www.color.org. While you're at it, you could download the latest ICC specs
and look at the required tags for monitor profiles and compare with your
LT170.icc to see whether is meets the ICC specs for monitor profiles.
