I did an n-Color implementation (CMYK, Warm Red, Green, ReflexBlue) at an
Can printer side. I only used the n-Color Profile inside the proofing
workflow (with Best RIP) and for RGB-TIFF Conversion. But the mean benefit I
got inside the Spotcolors and there you can't use ICC-Profiles. For
Spotcolor conversion to the 7 Color Workflow I used my own separation
workflow.
After changing to the 7-color Workflow, the printer is now able to print
nearly 85% of all designes without changing the Ink inside the press.
