GCR/UCR was all about the accident of their implementation. In the
days of optical/analog processing, UCR was easy, GCR was hard. They are
just opposite extremes of the same idea, and in this modern
age, it's to be expected that you can choose any combination
between them. Full GCR puts as much black as possible in all
colors, Full UCR puts as much black as possible in neutral and
near neutral colors only. I'd imagine a "width" control determines
how broadly near neutral colors are determined. At minimum this
would constitute UCR, and maximum it would constitute GCR.
