Dear Neil:
The CMYK values contained in the PANTONE solid to process library in Adobe Photoshop are based on explicit data supplied to Adobe by Pantone, and are consistent with those in the published PANTONE solid to process guide coated (
http://www.pantone.com/products/products.asp?idSubArea=0&idArea=1&idProduct=304&idArticleType_Products=0). These values are not effected by any algorithms within Photoshop.
Best regards,
John Stanzione

How where these values derived?
Are they Pantone certified values or real press run through ICC profiles to
a standard such as CGATS?
