OK, this part I'm on already, then. I chose colors that should be well
within gamut for my proofer, to avoid out-of-gamut errors. Am
comparing printed values versus Lab values in the original file. I'm
off to measure the AbsCol results now so will post later. Thanks!

resulting measured Lab values returned by your instrument with what

be too far. But that depends on where the starting Lab values were
relative
to the printer gamut. If you start off a lot of out-of-gamut colors,
the
DeltaEs will be high.
