doesn't matter. The separation settings like black generation & ink limiting only affect the separation part of the profile. As you will be using the "proofing" part of the profile it won't matter.

You may want to. Take a look at the darkest patches and see what sort of L* values you get. If they seem too high (like 12-18) when the patches appear darker to the eye then give it a try.
