Just a few highlights on Aurelon's RIP.
Called Signalize!
Now in version 5.5
OSX and Windows versions
Supports a large range of printers
Uses Spectral linearization + ICC profiles
-----------
Short history lesson:
Aurelon USA was a selling company representing Aurelon in North America. Had a bit of hardship and went south.
Aurelon manufacturing had to regroup following the loss of North American sales, but never slowed down in the rest of the world. The OS 9 Deskcheck product evolved into 2 OS 10 products: a) an OEM product for proofing and b) into Signalize! for display printing.
-----------
Ad campaign:
You can buy Signalize! from GrafixGear.
The supported printer list includes most models from:
Agfa
Canon
Creo
Epson
Encad
HP
Mutoh
Oce
Roland
Seiko

colors, printers, simulations etc but is something that needs to be
scrutinized on each particular set up.

This is somewhat of a reinvention of Aurelon in some form. About a year or
two after Aurelon went under, another company who's name escapes me came out
with the same product under new wraps. After my download, I did get a nice
call from the company asking how I was doing (nice).
