Color Shifts Near End Of Ink Cartridge

We appear to be experiencing color shifts as the ink level in cartridge
(single) is nearing replacement on the Epson 7600 (photgraphic dye).
Has anyone else experieced this these types of color shift?. Once the
ink cartridge is replaced the color on our test forms will once again
match.
