--- April 1, 1:00 pm Eastern ---
Mac OS X continues to evolve as Apple and other
developers track down bugs and add functionality.
Panther (Mac OS X version 10.3) has been out for several
months and has already been through a couple of revisions.
Is it better than before? What's changed?
Learn how fonts are organized and how to manage them
effectively. PDF is the core of the display subsystem and
although it's not the same as Adobe's PDF, it's getting closer.
Discover the differences between the two and learn whats
new with Adobe CS applications and QuarkXPress 6

* Font Management Techniques: is Font Book ready for prime-time?
* Making PostScript from Native and Classic Applications
* Defining and Managing Printers
* How to Create PDFs in Mac OS X
* ColorSync filters and PDF/X-3 creation

and printing industry.
PRESENTER
---------
Chuck Weger of Elara Systems has been active in computers
and computer graphics for over 25 years, having programmed
systems from IBM mainframes to UNIX workstations to embedded
microprocessor controllers. He created the concept of
"preflight" to denote the pre-output analysis process that
first became necessary with PostScript workflows. Preflight
became standard throughout the industry, and serves as the
basis for many commercial software systems.
