Hello,
I am curious if there is anyone out there using DLP's in Prinergy. In
Colorconvert we have (Exactly as Defined Below checked, so this should
override anything happening earlier on.) When a DLP is placed in the
Final Output we notice a change in vector vs. raster data when we have
a profile in the Proof Process Profile compared to it being blank. Is
this a bug? According to a technical bulletin a DPL should override
anything in the Proof Process Profile. This doesn't seem to be the
case.
In addition to that we we do not see any changes when we make edits to
our DLP in the Final Output window. We do see edits if we just use icc
profiles though.
It also appears that when we us a DLP that single CMYK colors are
preserved. Is this a feature in ColorConvert that can be turned off or
changed to allow contamination in our CMYK ramps? We do want preserve
solids but it seems that we have no control over it.
I am aware that there are patch updates for Prinergy but none of them
indicate the problems that we are seeing.
Thanks,
Troy
