Can a CRT, Mitsi Diamond Plus 200 monitor (or any CRT) be profiled

results as if the monitor had been profiled in the mini tower in the
first place?
Cheers
In a word, no. You need to have the display hooked up to the CPU
(specifically the video system) that will drive it when you calibrate
and
profile it.

Short answer, no.
Slightly longer answer, no, because it's very unlikely that the video
cards in the two machines behave identically. You aren't just
profiling the monitor, you're profiling the entire display system,
which very much includes the video card.
What what would you say about profiling the G4 mini tower using 10.3.3,
in he mini tower, then moving that profile to the colorsync folder in
9.0, in the same mini tower?
