EyeOne vs. EyeOne Display

Hello to the list,

I m just trying to compare the results I get when
calibrating my monitor with ProfileMaker 4.1.5 and
either an EyeOne or an EyeOne Display.

I remember that there was a discussion in the old
days that a spectrophotometer (Colortron) was not
as good for calibration as a colorimeter.

Is this still true for the EyeOne?

The observation I make is if I move or rotate the
EyeOne Display just a small amount, my color temperature
readings drastically change (mostly, the red reading).

Same thing does NOT happen with the EyeOne spectrophotometer.

I m curious if anyone else has made this observation.

Thanks in advance

Rolf Gierling
